Talia Baruch, founder of Wellify Health, is deeply inspired by the struggles of her late brother, Oren, whose battle with schizophrenia and substance abuse shaped her understanding of these conditions as medical and biopsychosocial issues, rather than simply bad choices or thoughts that can be easily controlled. Witnessing Oren’s pain and isolation fostered in Talia a deep empathy and commitment to supporting others during their most vulnerable moments.

Wellify Health was born from love, loss, and a desire to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space for healing. Talia is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and substance use, believing that open dialogue is key to building a culture of support. No one should feel ashamed or alone in their journey toward healing.

After Oren’s passing in 2017, Talia channeled her grief into purpose, dedicating her career to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. In 2023, she founded Wellify Health as a tribute to Oren—a place where people can receive not only professional care, but also the compassion, connection, and hope they need to heal.
